Elon Musk, the new owner of micro blogging site Twitter, has said that he can launch the company’s premium subscription service on December 2. The Twitter blue symbol used for verification will be the one with the new check marks. There will be a gold check mark for companies, a gray check mark for the government and a blue check mark for individuals (including celebrities).

Musk gave this information along with apologizing to a user on Twitter for the delay in the relaunch of the service. They Said That the company can launch its verification service on December 2. Musk said that all verified accounts will be manually verified before activating the check mark. Earlier, Twitter’s blue check mark was reserved for politicians, celebrities, journalists and other celebrities. Earlier this month, the company launched a subscription option for everyone. Its objective was to increase the revenue of Twitter. Since Musk took over Twitter, many companies have stopped advertising on this platform. Due to this, Twitter’s revenue is decreasing.

Musk had said earlier this week that the company did not plan to make any further layoffs and that hiring would be done for advertising sales and engineering divisions. Along with this, Musk had said that the company has postponed the relaunch of Twitter Blue until it achieves success in stopping fake accounts.

He told the staff during a meeting that now hiring will be done in Twitter. The staff has also been asked to give referrals for this. More than half of the company’s roughly 7,500 workers were laid off earlier this month. After this, Musk ordered the workers to increase working hours and work harder or leave the company. Angered by this, many Twitter workers resigned. A disabled worker of the company has filed a lawsuit against Musk for banning his staff from working from home or from remote location and imposing more hours on the job.
