During CES (CES 2024) held in Las Vegas, America, electronic companies from all over the world are displaying and presenting their new and modern technology devices. Joining this trend, Samsung, one of the world's most popular smartphone companies, has showcased an amazing flip phone. Actually, a flip phone equipped with a screen that bends on both sides has been showcased by Samsung. This is a new foldable concept device that is similar to the clamshell-folding phone Galaxy Z Flip 5 but, it folds both forward and backward.

Samsung 'Flex In and Out' concept device

Samsung showcases futuristic foldable phone at CES 2024. This is being called 'flex in and out'. Although it does look like the Galaxy Z Flip 5. But, this one is different because you can turn it inside out.

It is built using an in-and-out foldable technology, allowing you to turn the device 360 ​​degrees. Apart from this, Samsung says that the design of the single display is sleek and thin, and it can be folded outwards so that you can use the display even when folded.

Rigorous testing done on display

Samsung says that the panel of this foldable device had to undergo rigorous tests including folding in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. Basketballs were also bounced on foldable panels and were rubbed with sand and dipped in water.

Samsung Display also has other future products at CES 2024. These include the 'Rollable Flex', a device whose screen can expand up to five times its original size when unrolled. Then there's the 'Flex Hybrid', which offers both foldable and slideable technology. Samsung also showcased a wireless earphone case that has a built-in display.
