MHA has released 995 vacancies for ACIO Grade 2 Executive posts in IB. IB ACIO Grade II/Executive Selection Process
IB ACIO 2023 exam consists of three stages to recruit candidates for the respective post. Those who want to secure final selection in Intelligence Bureau have to qualify all the stages. The selection process for IB ACIO Grade II/Executive is as follows:
Stage 1: Tier 1 Exam
Stage 2: Tier 2 Exam
Stage 3: Interview
Note: Candidates appearing in the interview may have to undergo psychometric/aptitude test which will be a part of the interview.

IB ACIO Tier-1 Exam Pattern 2023
Tier 1 of the IB ACIO exam is structured with objective type questions categorized into five sections, each consisting of 20 questions carrying 1 mark. The sections include Current Affairs, General Studies, Numerical Ability, Reasoning/Logical Ability and English. Notably, there is a provision for negative marking, in which 1/4 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

IB ACIO Tier-2 Exam Pattern 2023
In the second stage of IB ACIO exam, you will face descriptive questions of 50 marks. It consists of an Essay of 30 marks and a section on English Comprehension and Concise Writing of 20 marks. Unlike Tier 1, there is no penalty for wrong answers in Tier 2.
