DFCCIL Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
The selection process involves 5 stages:
- Written Test (CBT) Stage 1
- Computer-Based Testing (CBT) Stage 2
- Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) – Only for the post of Executive (Operation & BD)

Computer Based Testing Stage 1
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
- Time Duration: 90 minutes
- Number of questions: 100
- There is negative marking of 1/4 marks.
- The question paper will be set in both English and Hindi.
- The first phase of CBT will be of screening nature.
- The scores of the first stage will only be used to shortlist the candidates for the second stage of CBT.
Computer Based Testing Stage 2
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
- Number of Questions: 120
- Time Duration: 120 minutes and 160 minutes for PwD candidates
- There is negative marking of 1/4 marks.
- The question paper will be set in both English and Hindi.
Computer Based Aptitude Test
- To qualify candidates must secure a minimum T-score of 42 points in each test battery. This is applicable to all candidates irrespective of community or category, i.e. SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex-SM and no relaxation in minimum T-score is admissible.
- In order for candidates to be considered for the post of Executive (Operations & BD) they will have to qualify each test battery of CBAT.
- Question-answer options in CBAT will be in English and Hindi only.
- There will be no negative marking in CBAT.
- Candidates are advised to visit RDSO website (www.rdso.Indianrailways.gov.in ->Directorates->Psycho Technique) for question pattern and other details of CBAT.

- Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents as per eligibility, availability of vacancies and reservation rules.
- During document verification, candidates must submit one set of duly attested photocopies along with their original certificates. No extra time will be given and candidature of the candidates will be forfeited if they do not produce their original certificates/testimonials on the date of verification.
