Therefore, with the help of machine learning, we will send it only to those people who find it convenient. And those people, who after receiving this notification, start chatting with that friend.

Apart from this, Facebook also took cognizance of the problem in which complaints were received about people’s posts becoming public due to a bug.

Facebook Chief Privacy Officer Erin Egan said in a statement, “The company has investigated a bug that causes posts to automatically switch from private to public.” That is, if you post a post on Facebook with the ‘Private’ setting. If you post a post with a username, it will automatically be made ‘public’ and everyone will be able to see it.

Facebook said that the victim user had to face this from May 18 to May 27. Due to this, users complained about their posts being visible publicly instead of ‘Specific Users’ and ‘Only Friends’. Facebook says it fixed the issue on May 22, but it is not able to change this setting for all users’ posts. Therefore, the company has sent a notification to the users warning them to change the ‘Public’ option.
