After the information about this update, a disclaimer has also been given for the users, in which it is clearly stated that this new policy will come into effect from 8 February 2021. The disclaimer reads, “After this date, you will have to accept the new terms to continue using WhatsApp or you may delete your account.” WABetaInfo also mentioned that the above date is subject to change, with the terms of service reportedly being updated in the coming weeks.
