Like any other e-commerce website or mobile app, WhatsApp also gives users the option to remove a product list after adding it to the cart. Users can click on the New icon while browsing the business account’s catalog to see all the items they have added to their cart.
Once the item is added to the cart, a single message is shared to the seller linked to the WhatsApp Business account. The seller then replies confirming the order. The payment process can also be completed through WhatsApp Pay, after which the delivery process starts. WhatsApp has also introduced ‘Open for Business’ sticker packs for merchants, which can be used to promote businesses with groups and chats on the platform.
Using the cart feature, users can place orders for multiple items in a single message, and WhatsApp has also made it easier for business accounts to manage orders.
This new experience of WhatsApp has been made live for global users.
