However, the new feature is not finalized and is being developed. A screenshot in this regard has also been shared by WABetaInfo in which the silence toggle for unknown callers is visible in the Settings menu. Enabling this toggle will silence calls from phone numbers that are not in the user’s address book.

This feature can be effective in preventing scam and spam calls. Apart from this, users can also get security in such communities where the phone number of their creator is visible. WhatsApp has not given any information regarding this. The development of this feature is visible for Android and it can also be made available for iOS. There may be changes in it before making it available to the users.
