Of these, about 10 lakh had such accounts which were flagged by Indian users. In the month before November i.e. October, the company had banned more than 23 lakh accounts. During this period, WhatsApp had banned a total of 23.24 lakh accounts. Of the 37.16 lakh accounts banned in November, 9.9 lakh accounts were already banned by the company, before users flagged them. Similarly, in October also, the company had banned 8.11 lakh accounts even before the users flagged them.
