After Elon Musk took command of Twitter, this microblogging platform has remained in the news. The company’s monthly report has revealed that it has taken action on about 11 lakh Twitter accounts in India. They have been banned. According to news agency IANS, this action was taken after the assessment conducted between 26 April to 25 May. Earlier on Saturday, Elon Musk had said in a tweet that the company is imposing a limit on viewing posts.

Verified accounts can now read 10 thousand posts daily. Unverified accounts will be able to read 1 thousand posts in a day. Musk said that cases of data theft and system manipulation were increasing on Twitter, due to which this step has been taken.
