The latest reason is the #BanTikToklnlndia hashtag trending on Twitter. Actually, this Twitter trend has become quite viral after a video of Faizal Siddiqui. Faisal Siddiqui is a TikTok star who is followed by millions of users. On Monday, suddenly one of his videos went viral on Twitter, through this video he has been accused of glorifying ‘acid attack’. As soon as the video trended on Twitter, the National Commission for Women wrote a letter to TikTok India and Maharashtra Police against it, demanding immediate action. After this, demands to ban the TikTok app started rising.

THE WAR OF YOUTUBE VS TIK-TOK

However, apart from this, there is another reason due to which TikTok has been under criticism for some time, that is the YOUTUBE VS TIK-TOK issue. Actually, Aamir Siddiqui had said in a TikTok video that the content of TikTok is better and more entertaining than YouTube videos. After which he started being criticized by YouTubers from all sides. But this issue gained momentum when famous YouTuber Carry Minati took on all the TikTokers including Aamir Siddiqui in his roast video and roasted them fiercely. Since then TikTokers are being trolled by YouTubers. However, now this video has been removed by Youtube.
