WhatsApp has officially stopped supporting Windows Phone today. This messaging platform of Facebook has decided to completely withdraw support from Windows Phone from December 31, 2019. This means that no matter which Windows Phone you have, it will not get official support of WhatsApp from today. WhatsApp will also stop supporting iPhones running Android 2.3.7 or older and iOS 8 or older from February 1, 2020.

Even if support for these phones is no longer available, WhatsApp will continue to work on Windows Phone. It is worth noting that the app will not get any update or security fix on these phones in future.
