The price of the premium subscription on Android is yet to be announced. This means users will have more space to share files and media files on the app. Users who do not have a Premium subscription will also be able to download files of more than 2 GB in size, which may have been sent by Premium subscribers. However, premium users will be able to download these files faster.

Every premium user will be given a special badge. Premium users will also be able to change their default app icons. Users taking premium service will not need to see sponsored messages on many big channels.

Apart from this, the company has introduced some improvements for all its users. Under this, new members will not be able to write anything in the chat box without the approval of the group administrator. Before allowing sending messages in the group, the administrator will be able to chat with new users and ask them to follow the rules.
