Some WhatsApp users are able to enjoy group video calling!

In the recently held annual conference of Facebook, it was said that the group calling feature of WhatsApp will be released soon. Now some users have informed that they have also started using it in their respective Android and iOS apps. Note, only a few users have informed about this update. It has not yet been officially released for all WhatsApp users. WhatsApp has more than 1 billion active users worldwide.

webtainfo The report says that group video calling has been activated for some WhatsApp users on iOS version 2.18.52 and Android beta version 2.18.145. This feature has not been officially released yet but has still been seen working. Some lucky users have got this feature long ago, which is a direct indication that it will reach other Android and iOS users also in time.

Users who have reached this feature in WhatsApp will see the option of Add Participant in the top right window. This option will appear during an ongoing video call with someone. Video calls can be made to 3 other people through the icon. The screen will be divided into 4 parts and video calls will become possible between all of them. WhatsApp has released the new iOS version 2.18.52, which can be seen by going to Updates. After updating you may get video calling feature activated.
