Piles of dead bodies in Tisca Chopra, Saurabh Shukla’s series, mystery to be solved on September 16!

Disney + Hotstar has released the trailer of Hotstar Special Dahan today. Along with the release of the trailer, the release date of the series has also been revealed. The 9 episode long series has been directed by Vikrant Pawar. Before this he has directed short films and this will be his first full project. The script of the series has been written by a team of three people, including Nisarg Mehta, Nikhil Nair and Shiva Bajpayee.

Disney + Hotstar has unveiled the trailer of the upcoming supernatural horror series starring Tisca Chopra in the lead role, which is scheduled to release on September 16. In the trailer of Dahan, the fictional city Shilaspura is being shown, in which the ghostly atmosphere is being shown with voiceover. In the beginning a man is exploring something in an ancient cave. It is said that centuries ago the city was cursed by an elusive sage, whose spirit still resides inside a mound. Currently, Tisca Chopra, in the role of District Magistrate, wants to mine the rare minerals around the mound.

Gradually tensions begin to rise, as the villagers warn them about the dangers. Saurabh Shukla is in the role of another monk. As the officer and his team proceed to mine, the spirit is unleashed into the forest. Then after that bloody incidents start happening, people are killed, as you might have seen in zombie movies. Other mysterious phenomena include bursts of rain, birds falling from the sky and dead fish floating in the river. The trailer of Dahan ends with exorcism and sacred mantras and finally the people living there start fighting among themselves.

Chopra said in a statement, “What I love most about Dahan’s Mystery of Rakan is how it taps into fear, as each character faces her own demons. Mine, Avni Raut’s character, is personal and Fights professional battles.”

There are a total of 9 episodes in this series, which were shot in Rajasthan. Dahan also stars Rajesh Tailang, Mukesh Tiwari, Ankur Nayyar and Rohan Joshi. Dahan will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from September 16.
