MIUI 12 may be launched in the global market on May 19

MIUI 12 was launched by Xiaomi in China last month with Mi 10 Lite Zoom Edition (Mi 10 Youth Edition). MIUI is Xiaomi’s Android-based custom operating system, which the Chinese company uses for its smartphones. Till now most of the company’s smartphones are working on MIUI 11 and now the company has launched MIUI 12. Although the company did not share all the information about the new version in the launch event, but now on the official Twitter account of MIUI, the company has posted a tweet with a cryptic message, through which Xiaomi has revealed that MIUI 12 will be launched in global markets. Will be launched on 19th May.

On decoding the message, its equation is number 19, which points towards May 19 and it is possible that MIUI 12 will be launched in the global market on this day. It is expected that the company will also give information about the global rollout of the new MIUI version in the same event. Mi 10 Lite Zoom Edition During the launch of Xiaomi was the first to introduce MIUI 12 and at that time it was said that MIUI 12 would be made available from the end of June.

The company had also shared a list of smartphones that will receive the update in the first and second batches in China. in these Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Youth Edition, Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi 9 Including some other phones are included in the first batch. While in the second batch this update Mi MIX 3, Mi MIX 2S, Mi CC9 series, Mi 9 SE, Mi 8 Some other smartphones including Series will be available. MIUI 12 new features

First of all, talking about the interface, the interface of MIUI 12 has become simpler than before. It comes with a white background, which highlights the text of the smartphone more. Apart from this, more space has also been seen in between the text. Graphics and visuals have also been added to complement the text. Xiaomi has done a much better job on system animations, including screen rotation, app launch and close, and re-arranging icons on the home screen. It also has navigation gestures like Android 10.

New live wallpapers have been included, which feature Earth and Mars. These live wallpapers are quite unique, which show you Mars from a distance and zoom in to show the red rocky land of Mars. Similarly, by zooming the live wallpaper of the earth, you get to see different places of the earth. By using dark mode, these planets disappear into the night and the visuals appear as if you are viewing these planets at night. You will also get optimized multi-window feature in MIUI 12.

Xiaomi has also taken care of privacy with MIUI 12, which the company claims has passed the ‘Android Enhanced Privacy Protection Test’. There is a new feature in it, whose name is ‘Flare’. Whenever any app uses your camera and GPS, it will show you a flag alert.

There is also a new health feature associated with it, which will record your steps and other activities without consuming much battery. Xiaomi says that it will consume only 1 percent battery throughout the day. For those who have difficulty in hearing and speaking, MIUI 12 has introduced a new AI calling feature, which works to transcribe conversations in real-time.
