The company has also made it clear that this feature is not available for group video calls, you can enjoy it only on one to one video calls.

Talking about group video calls, Google has claimed that soon more and more members can be added during video calls on Duo app. However, Google did not clarify whether this feature will come only for video calls or it also includes audio group calls. Currently, on the Google Duo app, you can add only a maximum of 11 members during a group video call, including you, a total of 12 members can join the video and audio call.
