Koo Co Founder Mayank Bidawatka Tweeted RIPTwitter said we will hire Twitter ex employees

After Elon Musk bought Twitter, a large number of employees were laid off from their jobs (Twitter Layoffs). The Indian employees of the company also got caught in the ‘storm’ that came on Twitter due to Musk’s arrival. Now it seems that the Indian micro-blogging platform, Koo, is going to compensate for this. The company plans to hire ex-Twitter employees. Koo’s co-founder Mayank Bidawatka has indicated this. In his tweet, he has expressed his intentions to hire ex-Twitter employees.

Koo co-founder Mayank Bidawatka has said that he is ready to take on Twitter employees who have either been laid off or have said goodbye to Twitter due to Musk’s orders. In his tweet he wrote, #RIPTwitter. We’ll be hiring some former Twitter employees as we continue to expand and move toward our big next round. He wrote for former Twitter employees that they deserve to work where their talent is valued.

Koo has made its mark as a homegrown microblogging platform. This platform, which was launched just 3 years ago, recently said that it has crossed 5 crore downloads. Koo started when the Covid pandemic was at its peak in the country. This platform has quickly become popular by making its presence felt in regional languages. The Central Government and its ministers have also joined this platform in large numbers.

Talking about Twitter, after Elon Musk acquired Twitter, there were massive layoffs in the company. The retrenchment fell on everyone from the top level to an ordinary employee. In India too, Twitter employees have lost jobs on a large scale. About 3700 people were sent an e-mail informing them that they have been evacuated. Recently Musk gave a message to Twitter staff. He asked the workers to tell whether they want to work more hours in the company or resign with three months’ severance pay.
