Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is surrounded by controversies, has extended her support to the new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk. Along with this, Kangana also has an interesting advice for verified blue tick on this micro blogging site. He said that every Twitter user having Aadhaar card in India should get a verified blue tick.

Kangana described Twitter as a better social media platform from intellectual and ideological point of view. He also justified Musk’s decision to charge about $8 per month for verified Twitter accounts. Kangana said on Instagram, “I never understood the idea of verification for select people. It’s as if other people have no real presence. I will be verified but if my father wants a blue tick then three “Four jokers will reject his identity as if he is an illegal person. Every person holding an Aadhaar card should get the Verified mark.”

Last year, Kangana’s Twitter account was permanently suspended for repeatedly breaking the rules of this social media platform. This ban was imposed by Twitter after Kangana claimed that the victory of Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress in the West Bengal Assembly elections would lead to violence in the state.

Twitter users will have to pay $7.99 per month in the US for Blue Tick. Musk has indicated that it will be increased according to the purchasing power of people in other countries. The new Twitter Blue with verification will initially be available in the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand. Twitter Blue subscribers will see half as many ads as before, in addition to the blue tick. Subscribers will also be able to post longer videos and their content will rank higher in search results as well as reply threads and mention lists. Soon after taking control of Twitter, Musk ousted the company’s CEO, Parag Aggarwal, CFO Ned Segal, General Counsel Sean Edgett and Legal Policy, Trust and Security Head Vijaya Gadde from the company. A big problem for Twitter has been monetization. Musk wants to solve this.
