JioCinema may reportedly soon become JioVoot and after this merger the service is likely to be subscription based. Currently, streaming content on JioCinema is absolutely free, but a Reddit user has leaked information about the subscription price of the alleged upcoming JioVoot service. JioCinema had recently confirmed that it will be adding new content to its platform, for which users will have to pay to watch. However, the exact price information was not shared at that time.

A user on Reddit, u/Economy_Protection_7, has shared an image of the JioCinema Premium subscription page on a television. JioCinema Premium will be available in three different subscription packs. The price of two of these JioCinema plans will be less than Rs 100.

According to the shared photo, the price of JioCinema Premium plan will start at Rs 2, which will be valid for one day and will support streaming content on maximum two devices simultaneously. This could be the cheapest premium plan for OTT service in India.

At the same time, a plan will come with a validity of three months, which will cost Rs 99. The name of this plan will be Gold. Support for two devices will also be available in this plan. There will be an annual plan, which will be named Platinum and its price will be Rs 599. The validity of this plan will be 1 year and it will support streaming content on 4 devices simultaneously as well as an ad-free experience, which suggests that the Daily and Gold plans will have ads running in between while streaming the content.

The picture also shows that 4K streaming option will be available in these three plans of JioCinema. It reads, “All three plans will provide users with the option to watch premium content in the highest quality.”
