However, later Google removed this app from its platform for violating ‘Spam and Minimum Functionality’ policy. At the same time, cyber security researcher had also told that it is very easy to hack this app.

Talking about the app, the co-founders of Mitron told Tech News by Careers Ready that it is not an exact app of TikTok. He told that all the apps have some common elements, although after the launch, many versions of the Mitron app have been launched. It is reported that the app’s team is based out of Bangalore and the initial template of the Mitron app was purchased from Australian marketplace EnvatoMarket. However, the developer did not disclose the name of the seller from whom he purchased the source code. It was claimed in old reports that the source code of this app was purchased from Pakistan.

According to data available on App Brain, the first version of the Mitron app was made live on Google Play on April 17 and it received 100,000 downloads in just 7 days.
