Now Facebook can be used to recharge mobile. Currently, this feature has been made available only for Facebook Android users. To recharge mobile through Facebook on iPhone, users will have to wait for some more time. To use this feature, you will have to go to Google Play and download the latest Facebook app. If you already have the app on your smartphone, then update it.

To use the new feature, go to the hamburger icon in the Facebook app which is next to the notification icon. After this tap on mobile recharge option. In some versions this is visible through the option of mobile top-up. If this feature is not visible on your phone screen then you can check by tapping on the See More option.

As soon as you reach the mobile recharge option page, a welcome screen will appear in the Facebook app with details of the debit or credit cards that you have ever used to purchase ads through your Facebook account. After this you have to tap on Recharge Now. After this you will be asked for mobile phone details. The app automatically selects the operator of the number you provide in most cases. If it does not, you can select the operator from the Select Operator dropdown list. After this the recharge amount will have to be mentioned. Let us tell you that in this app you will also get information about all the recharge packs available for your mobile number. For this you have to choose plan browse.

Now after selecting any one recharge pack, you will go to the order details page of the Facebook app. Here you have to select any stored card. If you want, you can also use a new credit or debit card. Click on the Place Order button to complete the recharge process. After this the app will ask you for OTP or 3D secure password. Finally the app will send you an order confirmation message.

Let us tell you that currently only credit or debit cards can be used to recharge mobile through Facebook app. This means that use of net banking, UPI or any other payment option is not possible at present.
