Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024: The Government of Gujarat in collaboration with the Tribal Development Department has launched a new Laptop Assistance Scheme, through which they aim to help in the educational advancement of students from tribal and local tribes.
Through this special program, those residents of Gujarat who come from tribal and middle class families are being provided a golden opportunity to apply for this scheme. If they are selected, they will not only get a free laptop but will also be given financial assistance at 6% annual interest rate, which they can easily repay in a period of 60 months.

The Laptop Assistance Scheme launched by Gujarat Government is becoming a blessing for the poor families of the state, in which the children of retired workers of Gujarat Labor Welfare Board are being given free computers by the government. The main goal of this innovative initiative is to help children who turn away from online education due to financial difficulties.
This scheme will help students continue their studies as well as inspire them to achieve their dreams and goals. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided on the loan at only 6% annual interest rate, which can be repaid in a maximum of 60 months. Remember, if you fail to repay the loan on time, there will be an additional penalty of 2.5% on the prevailing interest rate.

Objective of Laptop Sahay Yojana 2024
The first objective of the Laptop Sahayata Yojana is to enable the children of tribal community resident of Gujarat state, who are unable to participate in various types of online educational programs, to get the benefit of specially designed programs. Under this scheme, the government will provide free laptops to those students who have applied for it to meet their educational needs. To avail the benefits of this scheme, the application process will have to be completed, after which laptops will be provided to the students as per their interests.
Benefits of Laptop Sahay Yojana
Some of the benefits available under Laptop Assistance Scheme 2024 are as follows –
- Through this special scheme, we will provide the necessary encouragement and support to our members of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe to move forward.
- In this, only 10% contribution will have to be made on the loan amount. Specifically, Scheduled Caste students of Gujarat will be helped with money to buy new laptops.
- Additionally, you can get a loan up to Rs 1,50,000 for the purchase of laptops, PCs and other related equipment.
Eligibility for getting laptop under Laptop Sahay Yojana
Following are the eligibility criteria for Laptop Sahayata Yojana 2024 –
- First thing, you must be a permanent resident of Gujarat state.
- Second, this scheme is only for those students whose parents are covered under Gujarat Labor Welfare Board.
- Third, for this scheme it is mandatory for the students to be between 18 to 30 years of age.
- And finally, to avail the benefits of this scheme, students must have passed 12th class from any recognized school or institute.

Following is the list of documents required to participate in Laptop Sahayata Yojana 2024 – You need to provide your Aadhar Card, Certificate of Income, Caste Certificate, Residence Certificate, Mobile Number, Email ID, Recently Photographed, Bank Account. Passbook, and valid identity card will have to be submitted.

- On this new page, you have to upload all your required documents.
- After uploading all the documents, finally click on the option of 'Submit'.
