Big change due to festive season
Counterpoint Research analyst said, “The long festive season has helped a lot in this growth. Because, during this period, companies promote huge discounts and attractive promotions on smartphones.” Whereas, another research analyst said that “Samsung has achieved 18 percent market share as well as leadership due to the strong performance of its A series, strong offline marketing and focused approach in the premium range.”
Premium segment sales
Talking about the premium segment, this segment has seen a 64 percent annual growth in 2023. This report has also revealed that in the year 2023, one out of three smartphones has been purchased through finance and the maximum number of smartphones in this have been from Apple. When the brand looked at the shipments, it found that they had crossed the 10 million-unit mark.
