Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ listed on BIS, may be launched in India soon

Realme launched its GT 5 Pro smartphone last week and now it looks like the brand is preparing to introduce the Realme 12 series. Based on the leak, the lineup will likely include the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. At the same time, both the phones have appeared on the BIS certification site, which indicates that the device will be launched in India soon.

Realme 12 series spotted on BIS

• Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ were spotted on the BIS certification site with model numbers RMX3842 and RMX3840 respectively.
• Realme 12 Pro+ was spotted on Indonesia's SDPPI certification site with the same model number.
• Realme 12 Pro is also said to be linked to the model number mentioned above.
• The BIS certification doesn't reveal anything about the device but suggests that the device is coming to India soon.
• Realme has not yet officially given tease and official information about the next series.

Information revealed so far about Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+

• The Realme 12 Pro series is reported to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.
• A recent leak suggests that the Realme 12 Pro i will feature a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro+ is likely to feature a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
• In terms of design, the Realme 12 series is expected to feature a circular camera layout with dual camera sensors and a rectangular periscope lens.
• The price of 12GB RAM and 256GB model of Realme 12 Pro is said to be RMB 2,099 (approximately Rs 25,000) in China.
• As per the launch timeline, the Realme 12 lineup is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2024. This will be a launch event in China, after which the phones will be launched in global markets including India.

To remind you, Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ were launched in India earlier this year in June, so it will take some time for the next generation models to be launched. We expect Realme 12 and possibly Realme 12x to arrive in the series.
