ndtv According to reports, a man from Maharashtra’s Thane district ordered a smartphone worth Rs 46,000 from an online platform, but he reportedly received the parcel and when it was opened, it contained three bars of dishwashing soap.

After opening the box, the victim informed the police about the incident on Monday. Meanwhile, an officer of Bhayandar police station said that it seems that the parcel has been tampered with during delivery. He also told that the victim had ordered an iPhone worth Rs 46,000 from an online shopping platform.

At present the police have registered the complaint and are investigating the matter. Meanwhile, the police on Saturday registered a case against an unknown criminal under section 420 (fraud) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and are investigating it.
