Nothing looks all set to introduce its new, more affordable smartphone range with the Nothing Phone 2a. However, no official confirmation or teaser has been revealed yet by the brand regarding this device. But, if leaks are to be believed, this phone can be presented next year in the biggest show of the tech world, MWC (MWC 2024 in Barcelona on 27 February). At the same time, now in a new leak, information about the camera specifications of the phone has come to light.
New Nothing Phone (2A) Camera Specifications (Leaked)
smartprix A report by has revealed that the Nothing Phone (2A) may have the same camera setup as its predecessor. The phone (2a) will have a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN9 sensor with a 1/1.5″ sensor size on the primary camera. This sensor has not been publicly launched by Samsung yet, but the Moto G84 is another smartphone that has the same feature.
Additionally, the brand will be using Samsung's 50MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor for the ultrawide camera. It's worth noting that this is the same sensor that the Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2) also boast of. Talking about selfie camera, the phone (2a) will come with 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor.
Well, there is no doubt that the company is focusing on cameras, even with its affordable phones, as the phone (2A) could become the first phone in its segment to have a dual 50MP camera setup. .
Nothing Phone 2a launch date and specifications (expected)
The Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to be officially unveiled at the “Nothing to See” event at MWC 2024 on February 27 in Barcelona. The device, codenamed Pacman, is expected to be available in India, Europe, Japan, and other global markets.
The phone is expected to be available in only two color options, black and white. Talking about other specifications, it may include a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.
