After JioBook launched a few months ago, now there is news that Mukesh Ambani’s company Jio is preparing to launch a new laptop, which will be named Jio Cloud Laptop. If the report is to be believed, Jio Cloud laptop can be launched for Rs 15,000. It is being claimed that Jio’s Rs 15,000 laptop will have the features and experience of a Rs 50,000 laptop.
According to the ET report, Lions Jio is in talks with top hardware manufacturers like HP, Acer, Lenovo etc. to bring laptops in the Indian market in a few months. However, no official information regarding this has been revealed by the company yet.
What is cloud laptop?
It is worth noting that to make a laptop, chipset, storage and other hardware parts will be required. But virtual storage and other support is provided in cloud technology. This reduces the cost of making any product. Features can be accessed remotely in this technology. Therefore the price of such products is also low. Not only this, such products come with subscription model.
When will Jio Cloud Laptop be launched?
As we told you earlier that no information has been given by the company regarding Jio Cloud Laptop yet. But, some reports are claiming that this laptop can be launched next year by 2024.
