Apple introduced the iPhone SE back in 2020 and launched the iPhone SE 3 in the market last year. At the same time, now a new report shows that it will have the same form factor as the iPhone 14.

However, the iPhone SE 4 is said to have a Touch ID button. It looks like Apple is planning to stick with it and not move to an all-screen design for the next generation iPhone SE. But, we can see two more upgrades for the iPhone SE 4, the USB-C port and the action button; Both debuted on the iPhone 15 Pro models. Action buttons are used for many functions.
It is also being said that the iPhone SE 4 will be about six grams lighter than the iPhone 14. The weight of iPhone 14 is 172 grams i.e. the weight of the SE model will be 165 grams. It is said that the change in weight could be the bigger reason for the single rear camera on the iPhone SE 4 as opposed to the dual-camera setup on the iPhone 14.

The single rear camera on the iPhone SE 4 will reportedly be the same 48MP sensor that is on the iPhone 14 Pro series. Apart from the similar design, the iPhone SE 4 is also expected to come in black color similar to the Midnight variant of the iPhone 14. We’ll likely see more color options for the iPhone SE 4.
