After the meeting, Joshi said that banks have been asked to further strengthen the systems and processes in this regard. He said that more such meetings will continue and the next meeting will be held in January.
Joshi also spoke on issues related to Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) fraud. He said states have been asked to look into the issue and ensure data security.
Will create awareness about cyber fraud
Joshi said that there is a need to create awareness about cyber fraud in the society to save innocent customers from being cheated. During the meeting, the Indian Cyber ​​Crime Coordination Center made a presentation on the latest data on digital payment frauds reported in the National Cyber ​​Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP), including the challenges and issues faced in dealing with such cases.
More spam calls come from these codes

WhatsApp calls and messages are coming from many international numbers which include +92 (Pakistan country code), +62 (Indonesia country code), +84 (Vietnam country code) and +223 (Mali country code). .
Let us tell you that the country code of India is +91 and apart from this, numbers starting with any other code are from outside countries. If you also get a WhatsApp call from a mobile number with an unknown code, then you should follow the following steps:
- Do not receive the call.
- Do not message or call back on that number.
- Block unknown WhatsApp numbers immediately.
- Report that number along with the block.
