SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam Pattern 2024
As per the revised changes, the SSC CGL 2024 exam pattern consists of 2 tiers which are as follows: The mode of examination for Tier 1 and Tier 2 will be online. SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1 exam will be conducted online, consisting of 4 sections with maximum marks of 200. SSC CGL Tier-2 exam will be conducted in 3 phases – Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3. Candidates will have to go through these examinations. The tier-wise exam pattern is mentioned below.
SSC CGL 2024 Exam Pattern for Tier 1
SSC will conduct a computer based examination with 100 multiple choice questions. SSC CGL Tier 1 exam consists of 4 sections consisting of 100 questions for a total of 200 marks. Subject wise SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024 details are given below:
The sections asked in SSC CGL Tier-I exam are:
- common sense and reasoning

0.50 marks for each wrong answer negative There is marking. There is no sectional cutoff. No marks will be deducted if a question is skipped or not answered by a candidate.
SSC CGL 2024 Exam Pattern for Tier 2
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts SSC CGL Tier-2 exam in three different stages: Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3. Paper I is mandatory for all candidates, which provides a comprehensive assessment for various posts. Paper II, on the other hand, is special for candidates applying for Junior Statistics Officer (JSO) posts in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation. Similarly, Paper III is specifically designed for applicants aspiring for the roles of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer. Candidates should recognize the tailored nature of these papers depending on the posts they have applied for. Additionally, candidates should take note of the negative marking system, in which 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer in Paper I and 0.50 marks are deducted for each wrong answer in Paper II and Paper III.
