Common sense (General Intelligence): It will include non-verbal type questions. The test will include questions on Similarities and Differences, Fill in the Blanks, Problem Solving, Analysis, Judgment, Judgment Ability, Visual Memory, Discrimination Ability, Observation, Relationship Concept, Shape Classification, Arithmetical Number Series, Non-Verbal Series etc. The examination will also include questions designed to test the candidate's abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relations, arithmetic calculations and other analytical operations.
general awareness (General Awareness): The questions are designed to test general awareness of environment and its application in society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of current events and also to test such matters of daily observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The examination will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, especially sports, history, culture, geography, economic scenario, general politics including Indian Constitution and scientific research etc. These questions will be such that no special study is required for any topic.
Quantitative Aptitude (Quantitative Aptitude): This question paper will cover number system, calculation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions and relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetic operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, average, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and Questions related to distance, ratio and time, time and work, etc. will be included.
