SSC GD stands for Staff Selection Commission Constable General Duty Examination, which is a major examination for 10th pass candidates who can apply for jobs in the Central Paramilitary Forces under the control of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Steps to fill GD Constable Application Form Application Form 2023

SSC has started accepting SSC GD online applications from 27th October 2023. With the activation of the online registration window, we have been receiving a lot of queries regarding the process of filling SSC GD constable application form 2023. Steps to fill SSC GD Application Form 2023 (Part-1)

Candidates have to follow all the steps given below to fill SSC GD application

• For one-time registration, click on the “Register Now” link given in the “Login” section at http://ssc.nic.in.
• To do one-time registration, candidates have to fill their basic details, additional and contact details.
• Basic details are Candidate Name, Father Name, Mother Name, Date of Birth etc.
• Candidates must fill correct contact details so that further communication can be done
• Scanned photograph of passport size photograph and signature has to be uploaded.
• When the basic details are saved, you will need to confirm your mobile number and email ID. Upon confirmation, your data will be saved and your registration number will be displayed on the screen. Your registration number and password will be provided to you on your mobile number and email ID.

Login using your registration number as the username and auto-generated password provided to you on your mobile and email. Change your password when prompted upon first login. After successful password change, you have to log in again using your registration number and change your password.
• Now, upload additional details and contact details.
• Upload your recent photograph and signature.
• Save the information provided. Click on final submit. On clicking “Final Submit”, separate OTPs will be sent to your mobile number and email ID. To complete the registration process you will have to enter one of the two OTPs in the specified field.

Steps to fill SSC GD Application Form 2023 (Part 2)

1. Login with a registered ID and password to complete Part II of the application form for SSC GD 2023.

3. Click on “Apply” link in “SSC GD 2023” section under “Latest Notification” tab.
4. Confirm your details entered during registration and enter educational qualification, and other details.
5. Information regarding photo and signature will be filled automatically from the one-time registration data. Read the announcements carefully and click on the “I agree” checkbox if you accept it. Fill the captcha code. Check and verify the information provided by you and submit the application.
6. If you have not been exempted from payment of fee then proceed to pay the fee. The fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by generating SBI Challan using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI branches.
7. When the application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted ‘Provisionally’. Candidates should take a printout of the application form for their own records.

SSC GD Apply Online 2023: Application Fee

• SSC GD online application fee is only Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
• Candidates can pay the application fee by generating SBI Challan using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit Card or by cash at SBI branches. SSC GD application fee has to be paid online
• Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
