SBI PO Syllabus 2023
SBI PO is one of the most sought after banking exams, hence it attracts candidates who want to work in the banking sector. SBI PO Exam Pattern
SBI PO is a three-tier recruitment process, which includes: Prelims, Mains and Interview. Changes have been made in the mains exam of SBI PO. SBI PO Prelims exam is qualifying in nature and there will be no section-wise cut off. The exam pattern of the SBI PO 2023 is given below.
SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern
SBI PO Prelims exam consists of three subjects i.e. English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. SBI PO Prelims exam will be objective type for 100 marks and will be conducted online. Total time duration will be of 1 hour and separate time will be mentioned for each section-

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern
SBI PO Mains exam consists of four sections i.e. Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language ). The duration of this objective test will be 3 hours and different time will be given for each section. Total Marks mentioned for four sections is 200. There will also be a descriptive test for 50 marks. The objective test will be conducted immediately after the descriptive test. The weightage of General Awareness section has increased in SBI PO Mains exam.

Note:- The entire SBI PO Mains exam will be of 250 marks for which 3 hours 30 minutes will be provided (3 hours for objective test and 30 minutes for descriptive paper). The final result is prepared by considering Mains Exam and Interview in the ratio of 75:25. Prelims exam is a qualifying exam and its marks are not considered in the final result.
There is no sectional cut off.
There will be no sectional cut-off for SBI PO. 10 times (approximately) the number of candidates will be shortlisted for Mains Examination in each category than the number of vacancies in each category.

SBI PO Prelims Syllabus
The first stage of SBI PO recruitment is Prelims. This is just a qualifying examination and its marks are not considered for the final merit list. Prelims is of 60 minutes and has three sections in the SBI PO Syllabus 2023: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and English Language. The time allotted for each of these sections is twenty minutes.

SBI PO Mains Syllabus
The next stage for SBI PO is Mains. It consists of four sections and there is different timing for each section. The four sections are given below:

SBI PO Syllabus For Group Discussion & Interview
The last stage of SBI PO Recruitment is “GD + Interview”. Candidates can check the following important points regarding SBI PO GD and PI:
- Group Exercise is of 20 marks and 30 marks will be allotted for Interview.
- Candidates qualifying Group Exercise and Interview under ‘OBC’ category will have to submit OBC Certificate containing ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ clause.
- Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in this stage to be considered for final selection.
- The ratio of marks decided for Mains and Interview marks is 75:25. Therefore, candidates cannot take this section lightly.
