RAC DRDO Recruitment 2023: Recruitment and Assessment Center (RAC) has released the notification for RAC DRDO Recruitment 2023 for 51 posts of Scientist in DRDS cadre of DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation). RAC DRDO Notification 2023
As per the notification released by RAC (Recruitment and Assessment Centre), eligible candidates will apply for online registration for the post of Scientist from 21 October to 17 November 2023. Group ‘A’ scientists will be recruited by DRDO through this recruitment. DRDO employs highly qualified and competent scientists and technologists in Group ‘A’ technical service known as Defense Research and Development Services (DRDS).

Age Limit for RAC DRDO Scientist 2023
- For Scientist ‘C’ the age limit should not exceed 35 years.
- For Scientist ‘D’ and ‘E’ the age limit should not exceed 45 years.
- For Scientist ‘F’ the age limit should not be more than 50 years.
- SC/ST will be given relaxation in maximum age up to 5 years.
- Upper age relaxation for OBC will be 3 years.
- Age relaxation for candidates in regular service of Central/Union Territory is as per rules.
Persons with disability in the same subjects, whether posts are reserved for them or not, get relaxation of 5 years in the upper age.
Educational Qualification for RAC DRDO Scientist 2023
- First class Master’s degree in Science subjects, Mathematics or Psychology or First class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Metallurgy from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience for Scientist ‘C’
- Minimum 7 years experience for Scientist ‘D’
- For Scientist ‘E’ 10 years of experience will be required.
- For Scientist ‘F’ 13 years of experience will be required.
- All the above experience in research/design/development or production in the required area will be required.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of Chinese, French, German, Japanese or Russian
- Doctor degree in relevant subject Science, Mathematics or Psychology or Metallurgy (Applicable for Scientist ‘C’ and above)
