RRB NTPC 2024: Selection Process
RRB NTPC recruitment process will consist of the following stages of examination.
- Computer Based Test (CBT) in the first stage
- Computer Based Test (CBT) in the second stage

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern CBT 1
RRB NTPC exam pattern for Stage 1 has 3 sections, namely General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning.

- Separate Second Stage CBT will be conducted for each of the 7th CPC levels i.e. Levels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 with graded difficulty levels.
- There will be a common Second Stage CBT for all posts falling within the same level of 7th CPC (as mentioned in the above table).
- The duration of the exam for PWD candidates is 120 minutes.

RRB NTPC Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
(Only for those candidates who have Traffic Assistant and Station Master Post selected)
- Qualifying marks: In each test battery for the candidates to qualify Minimum T-Score of 42 points Have to get it.
- This is applicable to all community or category candidates and relaxation in minimum T-score is not allowed.
- Candidates for the post of SM/TA CBAT's each test battery Must qualify.
- CBAT will have question and answer options in English and Hindi only.

- Merit list will be prepared from among the candidates who qualify in CBAT with 70% weightage for marks obtained in Second Stage CBT only and 30% weightage for marks obtained in CBAT.
Typing Skill Test (TST)
- This is only qualifying.

- Candidates should write in English on computer without any editing tools and spell checking facility. 30 words per minute (WPM) and 25 WPM in HindiMust be able to ip.
Document Verification (DV)
Based on the performance of the candidates in Stage II CBT and Stage II CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable). On the basis of performance of the candidates, candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for document verification as per their merit and option.
