RRB ALP Exam Pattern

RRB ALP is a multi-stage exam and the candidate is required to be aware of all the stages, syllabus and level of the paper. We are providing you previous year papers for CBT 1 and CBT 2, so here is an overview of the pattern of these stages and the topics asked for your reference.

  • The first stage of CBT recruitment exam CBT 1 consists of 75 questions carrying 1 mark each from 4 sections which are Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science & General Awareness and Current Affairs. The time allotted in this stage of the examination is 60 minutes.
  • The second stage of the exam CBT 2 is conducted in 2 parts. Part A of the paper consists of Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, and General Awareness and Current Affairs.
  • Part B consists of questions on relevant trade (Electrical/Electronics & Communication/Automobile/Mechanical).
  • Part A consists of 100 questions each carrying 1 mark for 90 minutes and Part B consists of 75 questions each carrying 1 mark for 60 minutes.
