RRB ALP Exam Dates
Railway Recruitment Board has published an official notice on the official website regarding the announcement of exam date. As per the notice, CBT 1 exam for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot will be scheduled between June and August 2024. The next stage examination i.e. CBT 2 will be conducted in September 2024. The aptitude test will be conducted in November 2024. Notification of shortlisted candidates for Aptitude Test, Document Verification will be released in November or December 2024. The commission has planned the next cycle in January 2025, so they will complete the RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 by December 2024.
RRB ALP Selection Process

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern
- CBT 1 is a screening test to shortlist the candidates for CBT 2.
- A total of 75 multiple choice questions will be asked for 75 marks in which each question will be of one mark.
- The maximum time allotted for the online examination is 60 minutes.
- There is negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
- Normalization of marks will be done.
- Marks of CBT 1 will not be added to the final result.
