Amendment regarding MTS age limit
The latest notice of SSC on the official website was released on 01 September 2023. All the candidates who have applied for Multi Tasking (Non-Technical), Staff (MTS), and Havildar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2023. You are informed that the following amendments have been made in the age limit and tie rule for Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havildar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2023.
- The age limit for MTS post is 18-25 years, and for Havildar post the age limit is 18-27 years.
- If more than one candidate obtains the same total marks in Session II, the tie will be broken by considering the following order:
- Marks in General Awareness of Session II
- Total Normalized Marks in Session-I
- Date of Birth (Older candidate will get preference)
- alphabetical order of names

SSC MTS 2023 Eligibility
Eligibility criteria generally include educational qualification, age limit and nationality requirements. Check below complete eligibility for SSC MTS 2023 exam.
SSC MTS Nationality/Citizenship:
A candidate must either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a citizen of Nepal, or
(c) a citizen of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came to India to settle permanently before 1st January, 1962, or
(e) A person of Indian origin who wishes to permanently settle in India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam. Has come for.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be made only after the necessary certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Note I: Candidates should note that the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificate or equivalent certificate available on the date of application submission will only be accepted by the Commission for determining age-eligibility and no subsequent request for the same will be entertained. . Changes will be considered or permitted.
