Haryana Police SI Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2024
Haryana Police will soon release the official notification for direct recruitment to the posts of Group C Sub-Inspector (Male and Female) of Police Department on the official website. Candidates have to go through the selection process which includes written examination, physical measurement test, physical screening test, additional eligibility criteria and more. Before applying for any recruitment process candidates must read the detailed exam pattern and syllabus to get a clear idea about the recruitment process of a particular exam. Haryana Police SI Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the following stages:
- Knowledge Test or Written Examination (80% weightage)
- physical screening test
- physical measurement test
- Additional Qualification (10% weightage)
- Miscellaneous (10% weightage)
Knowledge Test/Written Test
- The weightage of knowledge test in the selection criteria will be 80%.
- All candidates will have to undergo a knowledge test of 80 marks consisting of 100 objective type questions each carrying 0.80 marks.
- The duration of the written examination will be 90 minutes.
- The medium of examination will be bilingual i.e. both English as well as Hindi.
- The level of questions will be expected to be as per graduation level.

Physical Screening Test (PST)
- Candidates who qualify the Knowledge Test will be eligible to appear for the Physical Screening Test for which the number of candidates will be 07 times the number of vacancies.
- PST will be qualifying in nature and candidates who fail to meet the standards set for PST will be excluded from the further selection process.
- PST will be conducted to assess the physical fitness and stamina of the candidate as per the parameters given below.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Only the candidates who qualify for PST will have to give the Physical Measurement Test
- PMT will be qualifying only.

Additional Qualifications
- All the candidates who have qualified for the Physical Measurement Test will be called for Scrutiny of Documents (Document Verification).
- There will be 10% weightage for total section criteria in this stage.
- Education- 07 marks
- NCC Certificate- 03 Marks

05 points Provided that neither the applicant nor any of the applicant's father, mother, spouse, brother or son is employed in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/under the Government of Haryana or any other State Government or authority of the Government of India.
