Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has published the official notification for the recruitment of 567 vacancies for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) (Post Code – 812/2024) in various departments. Among all the departments, Women and Child Development Department has the highest number of vacancies i.e. 194. DSSSB MTS Selection Process
DSSSB MTS Recruitment Process 2024 is of 3 stages. These are written test, skill or typing test and document verification stage. All three stages are equally important for a candidate. Let’s take a look at the nature of each stage.
- Written exam: This level checks the knowledge and aptitude of the candidate which is a good parameter to decide whether he/she is suitable for the post or not.
- Skill or Typing Test: After passing the written examination, candidates will have to undergo skill or typing test as per the requirements of various departments.
- Document Verification: When candidates pass both the levels of examination, they have to go through a verification process to confirm their eligibility and qualifications.
The final merit list is prepared according to the performance of the candidates at all three levels of the recruitment process.
DSSSB MTS Exam Pattern 2024
The first stage of DSSSB MTS Recruitment 2024 process is a written examination and this examination consists of 5 sections. Each section has 40 questions and each question carries 1 mark. The examination will be conducted for 2 hours duration. The examination will be objective type and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates should be familiar with the exam pattern so that they can plan their preparation accordingly and score well in the exam. The detailed notification of the exam has not been released yet. However, as per the exam structure provided and previous year question papers pattern, we can expect.
- general awareness- History, Politics, Science, Geography, Economics, Static GK and Current Affairs
- General Intelligence/Reasoning Ability- Syllogism, Analogy, Blood Relations, Direction Test, Number Series, Decision Making, Problem-Solving, Sitting Arrangement, etc.
- Arithmetical and numerical ability- Number System, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Mensuration, Data Interpretation, etc.
- Hindi language and understanding- Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension
- English language and understanding- Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension
