Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has successfully conducted the Phase I of CSIR SO ASO Exam 2024 for Section Officer and Assistant Section Officer posts. The examination for Stage 1 (Paper 1 and Paper 2) was conducted from 5th February 2024 to 20th February 2024 for which CSIR has released the answer key for SO and ASO posts. How to Check CSIR SO ASO Answer Key 2024?
Candidates who have appeared for the CSIR SO ASO 2024 examination can access their answer keys and raise objections on the candidate portal, the link of which is given in this article. The steps to get the answer key of the exam held from 5th to 20th February 2024 are a bit unique, so candidates are advised to check their answer key and check their responses for each question and raise the objections if necessary. must comply.

Phase 2: Fill your registered email ID and date of birth in the space provided after the captcha.

Step 7: If you wish to challenge the given answers, you can click on the 'Challenge' button given with each question and select the reason for your objection.
Step 8: After viewing the answer key and raising objections, you can see all your objections in the 'Summary' tab given at the top of the page next to the Details tab.
Step 9: After finalizing your challenges, you can click on the 'Pay Now' button and pay the fee for the objections raised.
Step 10: You can download the receipt of payment made for the challenges raised for each question paper separately.
CSIR SO ASO Selection Process 2024
Section Officers and Assistant Section Officers will be selected from the candidates appearing in 2 stages i.e. Section Officers and Assistant Section Officers will be selected through 2 stages which include Stage 1 Online Examination and Stage 2 Descriptive Paper for both the posts. Will be.
Phase 1: Online Examination for both the posts (Paper 1 & Paper 2)
Phase 2: Interview only for SO (General/F&A/S&P) posts, while Computer Proficiency Test for Assistant Section Officer (General/F&A/S&P) posts.
For the post of Section Officer
Paper I and Paper II of 350 marks have already been conducted. On qualifying this stage, candidates will have to appear in Paper III i.e. Descriptive Paper. Candidates must obtain 500 marks in aggregate in Paper I, Paper II and Paper III. Qualified candidates will be called for the final stage i.e. Interview for 100 marks. Thus, the final merit will be based on the marks obtained out of 600 marks for Section Officer.
For the post of Assistant Section Officer
Candidates aiming for the post of Assistant Section Officer (General/F&A/S&P) will have to go through a similar selection process. Firstly, they have to obtain minimum required marks out of 350 in combined Paper I and Paper II. Those who meet this criteria proceed to the next stage, which consists of Paper III (descriptive paper) and a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). CPT is qualifying in nature. Therefore, the final qualification for ASO will be based on the marks obtained out of 500 marks.
