Xiaomi launches Kite free frame rate gaming testing app, will test the performance of the device

Xiaomi has announced a new software application – Kite, which is specifically developed for gamers. This software is a frame rate testing application for games. It gives gamers an opportunity to test the performance of their device for a particular game on their Android smartphone. In simple words, through this app, users can check how the performance of their device is for a particular game.

According to Xiaomi, the new app is free in China Available Is. Regarding this frame rate testing app, the company claims that it provides a professional grade thermal optimization tool with accurate data. Xiaomi says that this tool does not affect the performance of the phone, and also reduces power consumption.

It’s reportedly a simple plug and play test that requires barely any power and can run in the background 24/7.

Xiaomi says that the Kite app currently supports many popular Android smartphone models. Furthermore, it is compatible with various popular CPU architectures and even multiple versions of Android. However, at present it does not work in iOS, which means that iPhone and iPad users will not be able to use it.

Gizmochina’s According, the company ran a game for 40 minutes on Xiaomi brand smartphones in the power consumption test. During the gaming testing period, power consumption by the Kite software was around 15mA.
