WhatsApp users will get a new layout of report feature, this will be useful for you

Facebook-owned messaging platform WhatsApp has rolled out the new beta version 2.18.246. Currently this beta version has been released for Android operating system. The layout of the report feature has been significantly improved in the beta version. This is not a new feature. Let us tell you that the new layout will be released for both personal and group chats. After clicking on the report button, a new alert box will open. With the help of this alert, users will be able to leave the group or block a person.

After the release of the new update, users will be able to maintain the chat history of reported group and personal chats. Which was not possible earlier. This new feature of WhatsApp was first reported by WABetaInfo website. To use the new report feature, first go to the group or personal chat you want to report. If you want to report a personal chat, then go to the three dot menu visible in the chat. After this go to View Contact and then click on the Report option seen below. To use the report feature in a group chat, click on the three dot menu visible at the top right. After this go to View Group Info and click on Report.

Please note that users will be able to report only those personal chats which are saved in the mobile number. Only chats made with a person whose number is not already saved in the mobile can be blocked. You can check this new feature of WhatsApp, for this you will have to enroll for WhatsApp Beta Program. WhatsApp is preparing to roll out this new feature for the convenience of the users. Hopefully the report feature can be improved before it is rolled out.
