By clicking on it, there will be no change in your experience but a malicious app will be immediately downloaded on your phone. This app has no connection with WhatsApp or Facebook.

Cyber ​​security researcher Rajshekhar Rajharia has made a tweet. It has been informed that nowadays an app named WhatsApp Pink is being seen a lot. in this tweet The researcher has also shown several screenshots of how the user mistakes this app for WhatsApp.

Rajasekhar told Tech News by Careers Ready, “Once installed, this fake WhatsApp automatically starts circulating a message saying click on this link to download. The aim of the hacker is to steal money through this app. More and more users’ data seems to be stolen.”

He said that more and more users of police department and media department are being targeted through WhatsApp Pink. Such links have been sent to many police officers of Delhi and Rajasthan. Rajshekhar Rajharia told that he was told about WhatsApp Pink app by Data Ram Yadav, a Delhi Police Inspector. Data Ram Yadav had seen the message issued through this app in a police WhatsApp group.

In a statement given to Tech News by Careers Ready, WhatsApp has said, “Such unusual and suspicious messages can be sent to any person. Not only on WhatsApp, such messages can also be sent on email or any other internet service app. We advise users to exercise caution before opening any suspicious message.
