WhatsApp comes on Jio Phone, download it like this

JioPhone users are eagerly waiting for the instant messaging app WhatsApp. If you are also among those users who are waiting for this app, then your long wait is now over. WhatsApp was to be rolled out on August 15 for Reliance Jio’s cheapest feature phone i.e. Jio Phone running on Kai OS. But WhatsApp is now being rolled out after a long gap. On Monday, WhatsApp said that all users of JioPhone and Jio Phone 2 will get the app by September 20. Users can download the app by going to Jio Store. WhatsApp and YouTube apps were shown in Jio Phone at the 41st Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries on July 5. The company had promised that WhatsApp would be rolled out for Jio Phone on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day but this did not happen.

Like Android and iPhone versions JioPhone The WhatsApp version is also secure with end-to-end encryption. With the help of the app, users can easily record voice and send it to other users. Users can group chat but you won’t be able to make direct voice or video calls. The payment feature available for Android and iPhone will also not be available to you on Jio phone. Currently, the payment feature for Android and iPhone is still in beta stage. To download WhatsApp in Jio Phone, go to the menu bar of Jio Store and search for WhatsApp. Click on the Install button to download the app. Before adopting this process, you have to ensure that your Jio phone is working on the latest software. If you have not updated the phone then while downloading the app you will be asked to update the phone to the latest software.

WhatsApp has more than 200 million active users (monthly) in India. This number is likely to increase further after the arrival of WhatsApp on Jio Phone.
