There is a provision to create an Appellate Committee in the new rules, which can cancel the decisions of big tech companies on requests related to removing or blocking content. Social media companies have been accused of being negligent regarding content or not resolving complaints quickly. IT State Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that with the change in IT rules, complaints regarding content on social media companies will be resolved quickly. He said that due to the careless attitude of social media platforms towards such complaints, it was necessary to change these rules. He said that such attitude cannot be accepted.
