The company said in a blog post that it is testing the message forwarding limit on WhatsApp in India, where the most messages and videos are forwarded worldwide. The company plans to reduce the limit of forwarding messages to five in India. Apart from this, removal of the “quick forward” button next to the message is also being considered.

At the same time, in the global version of WhatsApp, the company will keep the limit of forwarding messages at 20. It is worth noting that political parties in India have been using WhatsApp to connect with the public. In which WhatsApp forward message has the most important contribution.
