‘Swipe to Reply’ feature comes on WhatsApp Android app

WhatsApp had already released the ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature for its iPhone app. Now this feature has become a part of WhatsApp Android app. With the help of this feature, users will be able to send replies soon on the instant messaging app. The Swipe to Reply feature has been made a part of WhatsApp Beta 2.18.300 app. Remember that WhatsApp iPhone users got this feature in the month of June last year. Apart from this, news has come that Facebook is going to introduce dark mode in this messaging platform which will make the background a little darker. This will cause less strain on the user’s eyes while using WhatsApp in low light or at night. At present, nothing has been said about the timeline of dark mode. But in a report last week, it was said that this feature will soon be made a part of Android and iOS platforms. On the other hand, you will now be able to use external sticker packs in WhatsApp.

WhatsApp beta 2.18.300 Users using the Android app will now be able to reply to any message with just a swipe. For this you have to swipe any message to the right, after which WhatsApp will automatically send the message. This message will be placed in quoted form above the text box, so that you can easily identify it. Earlier, to send a reply to a particular message, you had to tap and hold that message for a while. After this the reply option had to be selected from the top bar.

After the introduction of new gesture support, it has become easier for the user to reply to any message. This is a great feature especially for replying to any message in WhatsApp group.
