Shahrukh Khan’s horror series ‘Betaal’ will be released on Netflix on May 24

Netflix is ​​soon going to release the zombie horror series ‘Betaal’, the first look of which has been presented today. This series is being produced by Bollywood’s Badshah Shahrukh Khan, the upcoming Netflix series made under Shahrukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment banner will be released on May 24. This zombie based series is the story of a remote village in India, in which the British era will be shown. In the series, a two-century-old evil spirit encounters a British Indian Army officer and his battalion. Talking about the star cast of Betaal, it includes Vineet Kumar (Mukkabaaz), Aahana Kumra (Lipstick Under My Burkha), Suchitra Pillai (Karkash), Jitendra Joshi (Kaakaan), Manjari Rupala (Party), and Sayana Anand (Mere Pyare Prime Minister). Like stars are involved. The supporting roles include stars like Goswami (Babumoshai Bandukbaaz), Siddharth Menon (Chhappar Phaad Ke), Yashwant Wasnik (Bajirao Mastani), and Savita Bajaj (Uski Roti).

Betaal is the second series made in India under the Blumhouse Productions and Red Chillies banner, before which we got to see Radhika Apte starrer “Ghool” under both these banners.

Let us tell you, Betal was actually announced in July last year. This will be Netflix’s fifth original series of 2020 in India, after the Jharkhand-based drama ‘Jamtara’ released in January. Then the romantic drama ‘Taj Mahal 1989’ was released in February, then Imtiaz Ali’s crime drama ‘She’ was released in March and then Vir Das’s dark comedy ‘Hasmukh’ was released in April.
